Do you make custom scrub hats? i.e. can I send fabrics for you to make into a hat?

Absolutely! The current price is CAD$29 (our regular Pixie, SP style, ponytail style) per custom scrub hat. Standard shipping fees apply. You will need to send us 0.7 yard (full-width) per hat. Do not send us fat quarters as those are too short. Contact us for more details.

How long does it take to make my hats?

Each of your hats is meticulously hand made to order. Time we take to make the hats, aka processing time, can be found here at our Shipping page. 

How do I get the Free Standard Shipping discount?

When you place 8 or more hats in your shopping cart, the free standard shipping is applied automatically. Currently it's offered for Canada and US orders, for limited time only. 

 Can you make other hat styles?

Currently, we make the scrub hats in three styles: the regular Pixie style, the SP style, and the ponytail style.

What are the size and fit for the styles you make?

Regular Pixie style:

  • Brim 60-65cm / 23-25 inches
  • Depth 16-20cm / 6-8 inches
  • Adjustable tie back with elastic band
  • One size fits most
  • Leave us a Note to Seller if you want a smaller fit

  • The MimiScrubHats SP style:

  • Brim 60-65cm / 23-25 inches

  • Perfect for those who prefer not to fold the brim

  • Which style fit my long hair?

     

    Our regular pixie style can accommodate a range of hair lengths and head sizes, including longer hair and bigger head circumference. This is because the elastic at the back is stretchy and the tie at the back can be tied with an adjusted length. Plus, the brim can be left unfolded to allow for a roomier fit.

    Our ponytail is another popular option if you have long hair.

    Can I wash these hats in hot water?

    Most of our hats can take a lot of handling (see disclaimer for metallic prints). We use premium cotton that are colorfast and we preshrink the fabric before making these hats. Strong Gütermann thread and durable elastic bands are used to construct them. Hence, you may wash these hats however that suits your needs, hot sanitizing cycle and tumble dry tested. For the best lasting results, machine wash cold and line dry. 

    Metallic and glow-in-the-dark print: machine wash cold and line dry only.

    What currency do you charge?

    When you are browsing the store, you can change the display currency to either CAD$ or USD$. The currency of the actual charge will depend on your payment method regardless of display currency.

    How does the subscriber coupon work?

    Do you accept cancellations or returns?

    It's our goal to make every hat in perfection and cheer for your busy day. However, orders with embroidery or buttons cannot be cancelled once an order is placed, even if it's within 24 hours, because they may be made right away.

    For scrub hats without add-on described above, we gladly accept cancellation if it’s within 24 hours of purchase or before the package is shipped, whichever comes earlier. Note that in some cases orders are shipped within an hour.

    Please understand that each customer's monitor may display the color of the products slightly differently, the actual products may have a slightly different color than displayed. We have tried taking the photos to the best that they resemble the actual products.

    For hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges. We do want to hear from you if you have any problems with your order. Please feel free to contact us.

    Do you include a packing slip in my order?

    To support environmental sustainability, we have stopped printing packing slips. If you wish to have the packing slip included in your package, please leave us a Note to Seller.

    Gift wrapping and packaging?

    We don’t have special gift wrapping currently.

    However, gift messages will be handwritten/ printed on a folding card. Leave us a Note to Seller (please write "Gift Message:") if you wish to include a gift message for your recipient.
